Osprey at Milngavie Reservoir

Half way through our walk today I spotted an Osprey!
I had seen it the week before last when I was walking round the reservoir but I didn’t have my camera with me on that occasion. We watched it gracefully fly backwards and forwards across the water occasionally being mobbed by a gull or crow, too high for my lens to get a good shot but I am very happy to add an Osprey to my bird blips!
The first time I saw it, I’m assuming it is the same one, it swooped down and pulled a fish out of the water with it’s feet, this time we weren’t lucky to see it make a catch. The Thrush in the extra did however have more luck finding a big juicy grub!
