Liberation Day

Our liberation day. On this day 77 years ago Nazi Germany surrendered in Norway. Some 350 O00 - 380 000 Germans left for Germany during May. More than 10 % of the Norwegian population. We put up our old cotton heavy flag to mark the day. Use it on special occasions only. Felt a kind of stronger gratitude and thankfulness today compared to last year. Have always taken our freedom for granted. Russia’s attack on, and shocking warfare in Ukraine has woken me up. Mrs B is seen raking on the blip.
