Poppies seen in a garden this afternoon.

I just had a circular walk after lunch and enjoyed the sunshine. Hardly met anyone on the way.
Stephen had his lunch in the summerhouse once more.
I watched our church service on line this morning.
We had been scheduled to go out for lunch with some friends, but it had to be cancelled. One of those things that can’t be helped.
Gardens are looking beautiful just now. I can hear a lawnmower somewhere nearby. Two little girls are singing their hearts out in a garden next door but one. They’ve come with their gran to have tea with their young Auntie Kate, who sometimes has them after school if she’s not working. It’s her sister’s children. A close family
So lovely to hear them laughing and having fun.
Soon be time for me to make the tea.
