Hill off Beath only needed a point to ensure they were safe from relegation. A win would have opened the trapdoor below their opponents too.

As it turned out, they never really got going. Apart from a good ten minute spell early on, the first half was a tense affair with the visitors taking the lead on the stroke of half time. They then went on to dominate the second half.

That gave LTHV a lifeline and dragged HoB back into the mire.

Last round of fixtures is next weekend and it promises to be a tense afternoon, with the top 2 level on points and 5 sides scrapping it out to avoid the two remaining relegation spots.
