When the weather plays ball

to help and celebrate a significant birthday (5th of the kind for Mrs Raheny, you haven't read it here).
Everything went according to plan. It was a lovely, relaxed, family day. 
The birthday brunch wouldn't have been quite as pleasant in the drizzle (that would be 75% of the time...) 
Later we had pizzas in Zero Zero (they give Zero Zero shits about online reviews) with Pepe and Orla joining us. There was much merriment and fun. 
Now, I'm totally exhausted after all that sun and food (even sneaked in a cheeky swim on Killaney beach while Mrs Raheny was sleeping off her lunchtime prosecco). 
Now, if you'll excuse me I have to put a middle aged woman to bed.
