Butterfly transect

The weather came right this morning and I headed to Howe Ridding for my weekly butterfly count.
Things are coming on rapidly now. There were Pearl bordered fritillaries, Brimstone and Dingy skipper, as well as orange tips and whites.
The brimstone was engrossed in feeding on the bluebells and sat nicely for her photo!
