Red Arrow

We had a family meet-up with my two brothers and their wives at a nice hotel near Tetbury.

There was a very amazing coincidence  when we arrived at the hotel for lunch and I noticed that I was wearing a blue check shirt identical to the staff uniform at the hotel.  We had a laugh about it with the staff.  

Shortly afterwards my brother Rob turned up and he was wearing an identical shirt

A few minutes later, my other brother Andy arrived and guess what?  He was wearing a similar shirt.

On our way home we stopped off at Kemble airfield which is home to a lot of retired aircraft.

The Red Arrows aerobatic team were based here until 1983 when they moved to Scampton.  Until 1980 they flew  the Folland Gnat trainer  when they changed to the BA Hawk.
