It's a dog's life

on the streets.

A trip to Manchester today. I specially wanted to photograph the new Piccadilly Gardens attraction, the Star Flyer. Anyway, instead I came across this fellow on Market Street who was making a sand carving of a dog. Miles away from any beach you have to admire their ingenuity and creativity.
It looked as if any minute a real dog would stand up and shake off all the sand!

In other matters: The prize for correctly guessing the sex of the new baby in the family goes to (drum roll) dollydoug who correctly guessed it would be a boy.
Give the lady a cuddly toy!
