Mrs Tom tells me that there are some fertilised duck eggs on the way. This could explain the presence of an egg incubator that appeared a couple of days ago (I'm really observant me) Apparently we are going to be spending a lot of time at the duck pond to ensure the ducklings get used to their future home and don't become too attached to us. Yeah. That's going to happen...
