Raindrops splash rainbows

I went to the farm to visit my Dad and make the most of his extensive potting shed bits and bobs, since I had a ton of flower seeds to propagate. We've left them to start off in the poly tunnel. This is just a selection of some of the seeds that we planted today. I'm hoping some will grow successfully. Back home I made a very gentle and slow start in creating a longer, wider flower bed in the garden. Got as far as cutting through an outline and skimming off a little of the turf but soon grew tired. It's still incredibly windy today and with intermittent rain showers isn't the nicest weather to work in. However, the rain combined with warmer temperatures means that the lawn has suddenly sprouted. It's way too wet to mow yet. The whole garden is a sodden mess right now. Fingers crossed it gets drier.
