Latticed Heath Moth

A much better night of sleep last night  - maybe the surrey air did me some good! - so in a much better mood when I woke up this morning !   And more glorious weather has continued my good mood! Very warm and sunny so it made for a nice little stroll round the nature reserve after some food shopping.

Saw my first Wall Brown of the year and quite a few Speckled Woods, and also this little chap led me a merry dance through some grassland.  Apparently it's a latticed heath moth - the first time I'd seen one.  

Spot of gardening this afternoon at a slow pace - forsythia to cut back, spanish bluebells to dig up and pots to water as they're drying out so quickly!
