Happy Liberation Day

We were liberated on 9 May 1945, a day later than VE Day because the German Commandant in Guernsey  was a Nazi and refused to sign the surrender documents. He even threatened to attack the ship if it didn’t leave the harbour. He never did sign but his second in command did on 9 May.
My blip is a weed which has nothing to do with liberation except that I was free to do as I chose today; and that was very little.
