Sheila's Place

A round trip of four deliveries this afternoon around Chester and then around Shropshire.This was my last drop before heading home.Sheila runs her nursery with the help of her cat.A small place but has a nice atmosphere and it is packed with plants some of which she grows herself.
Sheila is near pension age and is a no nonsense person.I like her alot.She talks alot of sense and runs a nice place.
Terrible storms last night and we lost a little glass and a fence pannel.The main damage was to the irrigation system.A door had swung and hit a water supply pipe breaking it under ground.The bugger of the problem was the pipe was under a feild drain and had to be kept dry while the glue set.Two hours it took to fix.Helen bailing out water while I cut and repaired the pipes.All this while the water supply to the whole nursery was off.When we finished we put the pump back on and that wouldn't work.An emergency call out by Paul our electrician soon had it working but we lost a whole morning getting it fixed.So an afternoon of rushing around my deliveries.Back home for 7.30pm.
Very windy and feeling cold.Some long sunny spells this afternoon.
