Challenging

Some time ago, friends suggested meeting at the Red Kite Retreat near Banbridge, so weeks ago we booked a session for today. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, despite the lovely weekend weather. We had to be in there at 2.30 pm & in the hide before the 3 pm feeding time. The kites were re-introduced to Northern Ireland in 2008 & apparently in the winter, this location can see 40 visiting. It was lovely to see the magnificent birds.
I found it very difficult to get focus, as they only landed on the distant trees, see the tree on the left in the extra & yes, it was that dark in the distance at times.
