What am I?

Several of these, each only 5mm long, were on the outside of one of our upstairs windows this morning. The wind blew a bit of a hoolie during the night and there is a goat willow a few feet from the house - I think this may be an immature stamen from a male catkin.

Anyway, it gave me some practice with the macro and extension tubes (the window is double-glazed which made it more tricky).

I hoped to get something nicer to blip later in the day, but no luck.
