Guitar player from the Balcony. In the mid-1990’s someone in Castellana had the bright idea to beautify the town with murals. So every few years or so, new murals pop up on a wall in an alley or the “main street”. There are about 30 of them and we’ve been cruising the villages that comprise the “town” photographing the murals. Some are fading and cracking and looking more like Pompeiian frescoes…but many are still bright and colorful. This one was painted by Lo Cascio in 1997.
