Tower Office view

After a day of grey coldness followed by hail then rain the weather suddenly took a turn for the better and by 4pm we had a beautiful blue sky fluffy white clouds and sunshine. Tempted to take yet another blip of the view from my office I resisted to a certain extent by taking the photo from inside the office to show the view I actually see !

If you think you may have seen this window before, watch "The French Lieutenant's Woman" and find the scene where Meryl Streep has taken a job being companion to an old lady in the big old house. She sits by a mirror in front of the window in her attic room drawing and looking tortured. Our office ! Well it would have been if they could have got the lighting right. Instead they had to recreate the interior of the house in Twickenham studios !
