Working hard.

I’ve never known j work so hard and so long. Today he managed 10 hours of manual labour, he’s covered nearly 7 miles and hammered in about 170 of the uprights in the past two days. He’s done well.

I did a shop, hunting for a birthday present for Louis. He will be 2 on Sunday. Jodie said he loves to play with water, filling and pouring etc. I found a collection of such things in Smyths toy store. I hate shopping in there! Completely stresses me out, rows and rows of coloured toys. When I paid I was asked if I’d like to hear about offers (as everyone does these days) He looked up at me and said “Everyone pulls that face when I ask”. I didn’t know I had reacted!
