Tiny Rosebud

I was checking my Columbine, hoping for a flower, when I spotted this tiny bud.  It's about 1 cm, perfect for the "something from the flora around you" theme.  I may have a Columbine for Flower Friday. :-)  Many thanks to H0tamer for hosting Tiny Tuesdays this month!

Our house doesn't have central air conditioning, but we keep it cool with 2 window units.  It works well, and we usually don't have to install them until mid June.  Since we're having our second 90F day tomorrow, we decided it was time now!  I'm afraid it doesn't bode well for the summer with it being so hot already!  

I am grateful that they are now installed and running smoothly.  The house is a pleasant 72 degrees. :-)
