Transport

Standing on the Union Canal towpath where it crosses above the Water of Leith and runs beside the west bound railway line. 

A pleasant circular afternoon walk around to Saughton Park - tea, visited the rose garden (nothing in bloom yet). A side trip to a big modern furniture store - we can get new chairs to replace the ones which had 20+ years of use and were not worth shipping. 

There was a grand double rainbow in the evening, with a full arc over the church; it didn't photograph well enough to put that up after yesterday's bow.
