Flowering

On one of the tiny tomato plants - about 6cm tall - on the kitchen window sill, I was surprised to see that two flowers have appeared.

A bitty sort of day, you know the sort! Seemed to be constantly busy
without achieving very much. Though I did manage to make a big pot of
French lentil soup,  sort out yet another payment problem with the credit card, and almost finish the accounts. Almost! 

A few light showers during the day weren't enough to do any good in the 'yard and some of the pansies were beginning to wilt again, so spent a while watering.

Good to speak with Lucy this evening. She's still on a high after completing a half marathon on Sunday, 16 minutes faster than her previous personal best. Wow!
