Owl City

The burrowing owls at Brian Piccolo Park are just adorable. The parents were bringing them out of the burrows to get some fresh air so it was lovely to see the four little owlets which seemed to be the number for most of the nests, out in the open for a photo op. 

They are roped off and once I had sat with them and they were used to my presence they appeared one at a time, their fluffy little heads swinging round in all directions and always dad on the edge of the nest to check it was safe. 

Baby B although adorable too, was a little grizzly and we think it may be colic related which is very uncomfortable for him. Work in progress there. All in all though he is a calm and content little lad, getting a huge amount of cuddles from the grandparents who are enjoying every precious second.
