Horsing it up

We pass CJ (captain JAck) & Smokey every day on our way to school but they seem somewhat camera shy as every time I bring my camera they are too far away to snap.

Fortunately today they we kinder to us and I got plenty of shots. Nearly went for this alternative[/url shot as it showed them in action but what can I say, Im, a sucker for an awkward crop so went for the above instead.

Im really not a horse person, a bit scared of them in fact but I have always found capturing them quite a challenge. We're so lucky to have these 2 right on our doorstep that I'm determined to keep going until I find their best angle.

Still undecided about the school situation. Passing the horses even features on the list of sad things we'll lose if E changes schools. The other mum hasn't had any communication either way so I suspect something has gone wrong with her application. Shame as I think if we could get a car share rota in place between us it would help with my decision.
