Moving On

The tulips are entering their next phase.  Some which opened up have stayed open despite the lack of sunshire and the colder temperatures.  The wind is tearing the petals which lack the strength to hold on.  All the energy is going down to the bulb.  Unfortunately, the bulbs will not build up enough strength to produce future tulips; some will, some will not.  They have been bred for the spectacular bloom and I am grateful for that.
