Bolton Abbey (widwed110522)

Travelled over to Clitheroe to see Gill's sister and her husband.

We stopped off at Bolton Abbey on the way - looked a good subject for wide Wednesday on the theme of architecture.

In the extra, one of the estate house,  probably including some of the stone robbed from the abbey.

A wild flower at Harlow Carr back blipped for yesterday.

Although the Nave remained in use as a church, the outer parts of the building were ruined so I'll tag it for derelict Sunday too.
