Bird on a wire

Today's the day ..................... for a merry dance

By rights, this should be a picture of an orange tip butterfly - because I've seen lots of them today and that was my plan.

When I say 'I've seen lots of them', it was probably just the one - but it knew I was wanting a picture.  It came tantalisingly close and stopped for a milli-second on a flower - and then it was off, leading me a merry dance, round the garden.  I never did succeed in taking any pictures of it, not even a blurry, out-of-focus one.

So here is the stalwart robin - always ready to pose at the drop of a hat.  And fortunately, most people are happy to see one .....................
