The mind boggles...

...... as to why anyone would want to stick brown parcel tape on the window frame and architrave, then, presumably after it fulfilled some mystery purpose, give it a good coat of white gloss paint. This undoubtedly intended as disguise, which it singularly failed to do. It may well have been the same person who thought that masking tape would be ideal for covering a gap between 2 sheets of plasterboard before giving it a coat of emulsion. 
So redecorating has a whole new dimension today involving magic sticky stuff solvent spray and lots of bad words.
As an antidote the extra is a blackbird shot from yesterday which I forgot to add.
