Life and death

A day like many lately, with the difference that there was actually some rain on the ground this morning, but very little. On the news I heard that only 75% of normal amount of rain has fallen since the beginning of the year so far. 
The usual schedule of rehearsing after breakfast, coffee in the sun, enjoying my time. Tony, one of my guitar students wanted to see me after lunch to get some help with a song he wants to play at an old peoples home tomorrow. I love teaching and to see people grow. 
After his lesson I went for a jog in the vicinity to improve my lung capacity and general condition. I ran into this ancient ram-scull and got reminded that I'm also mortal. But not for a while yet I hope.
