Woden’s Day

Wednesday is associated with the Norse God Woden (or Odin) who is associated with wisdom, magic, victory and death • In North America it’s referred to as Hump Day, the middle of the week • A visit to our favorite plant store filled up the car with perennials. Thankfully only one plant tipped over on the ride home. A return trip next week will be for annuals and veggie seedlings • Today we planted the broccoli that we’ve been hardening for over a week. Although not a frost tonight it will be cool enough that we’ll cover them and the pansies. I planted cucamelon seeds today with hopes of not regretting it. They love heat and because of the unusually warm weather that’s in store over the next few days I thought it was worth the risk. When MrsP agreed, I got it done! • Goldfinches are so sweet and irresistible :)
