Tie

I don't often wear a suit and tie these days:  basically just for weddings and funerals, and it is a reflection of my age that I attend more funerals than weddings.  I still have a rack full of ties, but it is the black tie which comes out most often, as it did again today (the second funeral in two weeks).

It proved to be quite a long day and I was pretty tired when I got back home, but I was still in time to go out swimming (the first time in four weeks because of various other events).  It was no surprise that I couldn't quite manage the complete set designed by our coach, but I still managed a respecable 2100m, so I was quite pleased.
