Through smoke to the gods

Yesterday was very windy indeed and then the rain came in so instead of the beach or coast we headed inland. We drove through the beautiful Stour valley to a perfumery where we had a coffee and wandered around the little museum and exhibition. The copper still in the main photo was part of this exhibition. Perfume - par fumus - through smoke to the gods was originally used in religion but has evolved through the ages to what it is today.
The extra is the15th century stone bridge which crosses the Stour river on the way to the perfumery.
