Brrrr…….. Cold.

The first decent frost of the autumn. A morning to be wearing lots of layers of merino. Maisie didn’t seem to mind the cold and even plunged into the river and stuck her head under.
A very busy day. Friend Lynette came around to help in the garden. The two of us dug out a large flax bush that had over-grown in a big ex-old-wash-house concrete tub. Remember them?? Lynette had to take to it with a big ax…. The flax. Not the tub. We won in the end..
