a Swift exit

You're just going to have to take my word for it.  I'm looking out of our window at one of the houses opposite and I see a flash of black emerging from under the slate roof.  The Swifts are back - yay!

I get my camera and spent about 5 minutes lurking - pointing the lens through the slats of the Venetian blinds, hoping no one sees me.

I give up - I'm never going to make a bird photographer.  Then of course, about half a dozen come zooming over the roof tops, like a squadron of Spitfires from another age.

The extra shows one I managed to capture 2 years ago.

They make me very happy.
