Bank Swallows

The noise and the chaos!  Banks swallows choosing their nesting spots, mating, pushing each other around, flying all about.  I couldn't get enough of it.  I took so many photos.  It was hard to capture all that was going on.
I went of this section of river to visit the eagle's nest in the oxbow.  Sure enough, an adult was guarding the nest.  The beavers were busy.  I disturbed their sunbath and got warned off with tail slaps.  
And I went swimming too.  Brrrr!  The temps reached 90 and it had to be done.
