Race fuel!!
Trailing a new fuelling strategy for tomorrow’s event, I will start with the night shake tonight and have one of the drinks on the way to the race and one during, I will use the gels and flapjack throughout, alongside crisps, brownie and jelly babies.
I have the recovery shake for after! Hoping all of this suits my stomach on event day, it’s worked in training!!
6 hours running round Coombe Abbey Park, I have no lap target or pace just going to enjoy the day with no pressure and I can’t wait!
