Saying Goodbye

Today I went back to the school where I used to work. I haven’t been in there for well over a year, so it felt a bit strange.
Having gone back to work in January after my illness, I decided I would take on a different role in speech and language therapy, rather than going back to the school where I’d been working for 13 years.
It was lovely to see the staff and children again and they were very kind to me and said lovely things about how much they miss me. The children made me a card and I had a card from the staff and some beautiful flowers.
I will miss them all, but I’m enjoying my new role and I think it was the right move for me.
