This tree scape of an intricate lacy network of branches , high in the sky caught my eye. I thought it was impressive and a little unnerving.

We had an Arthur day with the additional bonus of Jess joining us for tea. He only seems mildly off colour with his chickenpox though he was quieter than usual and felt cold when he got out the bath which was a first as he is usually a hot little guy. He looked funny wearing his calamine lotion warpaint , it’s now all over my favourite black down coat which is less funny.

The weather has seemed odd and at times accompanied by an air of foreboding , the air is unseasonably chilly with a cold nip to it . The light started fading earlier than usual , I wonder if we are in for a storm or at the very least , a heavy downpour ?
Hoping that warmer , sunnier weather is just around the corner!
