Willet Taking Off

Finally, after four days of cold, wind and rain, the sun appeared today.  Spring on Cape Cod is a hit-or-miss proposition.  After getting our fill of sleep (and unfortunately, eating), today we had a chance to walk on the beach.  My husband collected shells to bring home to the grandchildren, while I was content to follow the shorebirds.  This Willet didn't care for my presence and took off when I got close.
