Photographic Poeticisms

By TerryRhiannyr

Please

Please
Do not look upon my misery
Age
In all its sins
Gathers upon my form
And removes
Beauty

Its ravages
Weigh heavily up these bowed shoulders
And
I feel
My inevitable end
Poised
And waiting
To strike

Once, once
I glowed
I was a sun in the world of dark
Admiration
In look
Glance
Poured on to my visage
Like wine
Pouring
Into a celebratory cup

But
Alas
No more do I receive
Admiration
But instead
Ignored
Shunned
I am
In many eyes
A corpse
Yet, I live

Bardy has eaten/ drank well today and seems so much better than he was. Fingers are crossed that he continues to improve.

Many thanks for all your thoughts and wishes
