Optimistic?

This large blob of frogspawn was sitting in a puddle in the middle of a forestry road in Glen Kin. It doesn't look as if there had been any timber lorries splashing through the puddle recently, but I don't know what the outlook for this lot will be.

Actually I thought of leaving this pic undescribed and asking for suggestions ...
