Lilac time

Freezing is done (I hope) and the lilacs are really starting to bloom. Great news. The scent is wonderful.
Another day of very strong winds. A real problem for fires. Three areas are under a mandatory evacuation order. In one, 8 mobile homes were destroyed. Another fire burned 25 acres near hundreds of homes with 1,000 people evacuated. Fortunately the firemen kept all the homes safe until they could put the fire out. Thanks to all the fire and police personnel who are doing a great job.
