Auplopus Carbonarius

This is a Spider Wasp. It does sting but thankfully not too bothered about humans as I had it on my hand for me and Paula to try to photograph it.

Waited in for Paula's camera then we had a play with macro stuff in garden then went down the village for an area by the river and guess what? It threw it down! Rain stopped play!
Got back to cottage (on foot) soaked!!
Paula loves her new baby and shes getting into macro big time! Shes getting awesome shots and I am extremely jealous!
Extra is a Nettle Weevil ( my favourite bug)
