The Formation of Poetry

This artwork was unveiled in the town about three years ago and is a tribute to the life and work of Samuel Johnson, one of Lichfield's famous sons.

It's cast in bronze, is 3m long, and was created by Peter Walker from designs developed by art students at a local school......and to quote the famous cliche, I don't know much about art, but I know what I like.
