My City: Day 914: Toronto

Over the years I have been many 'things". One of these was a potter. I have a few pieces left from that time period. This is a large platter with my seashell design and textured surface. Yes each of those texture marks were made individually by hand.

The design is green underglaze pencil with a clear glaze sprayed on and then the piece was fired. I then applied gold luster and the piece was fired a third time.

Clay make my heart sing. I can walk into a pottery shop or show and feel my heart start to beat faster. I miss it:-)
