Homeward bound.
Our week in North Wales is over. It brought us much joy.
We had to leave our cottage by 9.30 a.m. but our route home enabled us to extend our holiday.
First we went to the famous Bodnant Gardens. Owned by the National Trust these superb gardens on the North Wales coast have one of the finest collections of Rhododendrons ans Azaleas in the country. Just past their best now but still a magnificent sight.
Also on our route a specialist Alpine plant nursery where Mrs. K. bought a dozen new little treasures for me as a birthday gift. Some may get blipped in days to come.
All in all a memorable week.
