Trying out my tree app

I have downloaded a Brirish tree identification app from The Woodland Trust and thought I'd try it out on this tree which is a prominent feature of our garden and hangs over to our neighbour's garden as well. We have had tree surgeons hazard a guess at what it is in the past but I don't think anyone suggested it was an ash, which is what I came up with after running through the leaf-related questions in the app. Perhaps I need to try another app, or perhaps it only deals with native British trees.
