Helleborine

The recent rain has led to a flush of early orchids. This is a Narrow-leaved Helleborine. I tentatively identified it last year as a White Helleborine. But I bought an orchid identification guide at the Wildlife Trust last week, and discovered that it is a close but more scarce cousin. We have at least twice as many of them as we had last year which I am going to attribute to our #nomowmay policy.
