Puppets galore
Today we travelled on two ferries and drove over hills and through pretty countryside to arrive at Tarbert on the Kintyre Peninsular where we are staying overnight. It’s a lovely place to visit as you can see from my extra photo.
Our B&B is a strange place run by a man who is a real character. As well as three large dogs the house is full of puppets. My main blip is two life size (rather creepy) ones. There are two extras, one is of a huge number of string puppets hanging from the staircase and one of a band (which is very good) outside our room.
The door of the room ldoesn’t close unless we lock it and the bathroom door is a struggle to open. It’s certainly different!
This evening I had a most enjoyable blipmeet with Mother Shipton. She took me for a walk up Tarbert castle which had lots of bluebells and a beautiful view and then for a walk around. We had a lovely chat and it was great to meet her.
We are catching the ferry to Islay tomorrow where we will stay for a week. Unfortunately our apartment doesn’t have WiFi so Iwon’t be able to publish my blips until later.
