Good to get out with the doggies in a drizzly day and really appreciated gulping fresh air.

We had a visit from a council rep who subsequently ‘approved us’ as hosts for a Ukrainian. They’ve dropped some of their home inspection requirements - for example, the question “Do you have a Gas Safety Certificate?” to which our answer was negative, was noted but not a barrier. One friend was told to replace a stair carpet as it presented a trip hazard. So I’m / we’re grateful for the efforts they’re making to move things along quicker.

He had some alarming stories though …
