"Winged House" at Wategos

The view to our right here at Wategos Beach, Byron Bay. The house has become known by locals as the "winged" house. It looks like the roof has fallen down at first inspection. The Extra shows the view from our balcony towards the beach. We are here for 3 nights with 6 friends for a birthday celebration. The weather has been terrible for anything but sampling wine and whisky (but it's  much worse back home on the Sunshine Coast with local flooding in many areas.
